The Society of Indonesian Science Journalists envisions an informed and science conscious society through excellence in science journalism
OUR MISSIONS
1. to advance public understanding of the important of science issues by improving the quality of science reporting
2. to provide critical support to journalists of all media in their efforts to cover complex issues of science responsibly
3. to offer unique services for working journalists through educational programs, seminars or conferences, print or electronic publication, awards for the best science reporting, and other activities
4. to raise awareness among editors, news managers, publishers, and other key decision-makers in the media on the value and importance of science news reporting
5. to advance partnership with scientists in Indonesia and all over the world in order to increase the quality of science reporting in media
